Our Story

The Department of Missions of the Florida Multicultural District was born at the beginning of the decade of the 80s, under the supervision of Rev. Gustavo Jimenez and his wife Iraida. During those years, they boosted the local and foreign missionary work.

In these past 30 years we have seen how our District has advanced in preparing and sending missionaries. The same with in planting and development churches. Our desire is to have every church in our District getting involve in the Missionary Movement and Church Planting in places that are unreached field.

Our Services

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Training

We offer workshops and seminars on topics such as: The Biblical Basis of Missions, Realities of Unreached People Groups, Involving the local church in missions, Responding to the call, and many more.

Consultancy

We offer advice to pastors and local leaders in the development of their ministry to impact nations. We also advise potential candidates for missionaries to serve in the field, both domestic and foreign.

Missions Talk

Interviewing missionaries or dictating a missiological theme, we generate a reflective dialogue that will lead the audience to dig deeper into the Church Mission and its different angles for today. Reflecting together, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to move forward in being a Missional Church.

Missions Mobilization Camp

An impact weekend! Dynamics, activities and teachings for pastors, leaders, youth and children. Variety of themes, under the ministry of the Holy Spirit, that help us to grasp the true dimension of missions in these times.

Coordination for Missionaries

We help the missionaries on their return from the field to take time off. Also in coordination to visit new churches that can adopt them as their missionaries.

Missionary Trips & Pastoral Care

We are intentional to visit our missionaries in the field, to provide support, companionship and care. We know more about their work and how best to bless them. This united effort with pastors strengthens our missions advancement to the nations.

Seccional Missions Convention

We hold conventions in each section with the goal that pastors and mission leaders can acquire tools to help with ideas for their missionary conventions in their local churches. Also to continue discovering the calls to the missionary work in these services.

Intercessory Prayer

We share information to unify the church in prayer. Intercesory prayer for our missionaries, for the unreached peoples group, for the projects and trips that are developed. Through cell phone applications, prayer chats, web pages and others; we teach how to pray with precision for the global missionary work.
